This week eMusic instantly added over 10,000 new albums when they added the Warner music group to their offerings.
You could go on and on about what artists this added but some bass-oriented notes include additions of:
new Mingus albums
Prince (although mostly best-of)
the 1971 Live at the Fillmore West recordings of both Aretha Franklin and King Curtis featuring Jerry Jemmott on bass
Paul Simon's catalog with excellent bass work from Bakithi Kumalo, Tony Levin and Abraham Laboriel
Some non-basscentric artist additions that were of interest to me include Tom Waits, Talking Heads, Bjork, more Willie Nelson, Philip Glass, more Ornette Coleman, etc... Some great additions. I may have to buy a booster pack.
