From the DVDs ive seen of that series , the shows are put together really well. I have Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix and its pretty good. The Steely Dan one is also really good . The funny thing about Peg though is that Becker/FAgen didnt want Rainey to slap and according to some interviews RAiney thought it was funny that BEcker/Fagen act like its no big deal when they talk about it on the DVD but they had a real problem with it during the recording.

I like the scene where they're in there listening to all the guitar solos on 'Peg'.

That's one of my favorite DVD's. I like when they solo Michael McDonalds background vocals. Sweet.

OT - he has to be one of the most recorded voices of modern time. You can hear him on a million recordings.

thanks for the thread, link, and timing. Ordered 15 used CDs online 10 days ago, they've been here for several days, and 9 of them are Steely Dan or SD member solo albums. great stuff...
