Marilyn Manson: Eat Me Drink Me

I bought this CD today, and I got to say Im really pleased with it. I hadnt heard much about it, so I didnt get it right away. I think it is a very very good CD. However it goes in a much diferent direction than Manson's earlier material. I think if you go into to it prepared for it to be diferent youll get more enjoyment out of it. If your looking for music similar to the old stuff there is a 50% chance you will or wont like this CD. Im in the 50% that think it rocks. I was curious as to what other people thought.

Ah well, I won't be picking it up. Has he ditched that camp 1930's image he had going on?

I think so. This album seems to be a lot more sad, than angry like is earlier stuff. I think you should give it a listen.

I might dig it out sometime then. I thought his last album was a real let down, the image was ridiculous and the songs were as lacklustre as anything. It made me think back to the time when he was making music with hooks!

I think this one is better, but seriously it is so diferent from his other stuff that its not really comparable. Its a new direction and youll either love it or hate it, but give it a shot.

His marketing is genius. I can't stand the music though.

Not being a fan of his music, although having heard pretty much all of his albums, I can say that there are more hooks on here than the last few. That said, I wouldn't say it's his most memorable music.

I love the new CD, but then again I love all of the CDs. However, this one int my favorite but Heart Shaped Glasses is probably the sexiest song Ive ever heard. Wow I feel dirty now...ugh.
