I had almost zero preconceptions.... just some curiosity about how it would turn out. From the sound of it, these guys got together for a jam and played the result for the benefit show.... It wasn't some sort of orchestrated comeback of Nirvana.... just some raw impromptu rock n' roll.

When you think if all the joy those guys have brought to the hearts and souls of millions I can't understand how any of could be be negative.
There's a reason those guys were up there performing and we are watching.

| | | | I had no expectations and am not a huge follower of The Beatles crew. Sounded pretty cool to me. It would be nice if McCartney were 15 years younger, but he did a great job all things considered.

I love The Beatles and Paul McCartney, and I grew up listening to Nirvana. But I didn't really like what I saw in the video the first time around. It just all seemed very "garage-band-ish" to me, just very loud and cacophonous, which isn't really my thing.
Of course, this is all just my personal opinion.
And, to be fair, I listened to it a second time and it's kind of growing on me.

Keeping in mind that it is "just some raw impromptu rock n' roll" puts it into perspective a bit more as something I can appreciate for what it is.
