The following is constructive criticism from my point of view

Where's the grooove?! i appreciate a fun noodle, (especially on a fretless ) but i think you could get way more into it by throwing in a solid groove.

what amp are you playing through?

Well. I was reading a Jaco interview and he said that you should play melody instead og groove ... so I grabbed my bass and this happened ...

I love the sound of the tree frogs!

I agree, definitely needs to be a bit groovier. Seems like we are watching you practice scales. Sounds good though!

This is not a comment on your playing. It's just about groove.

I don't think Jaco said "instead of", at least not any of the several times I heard him talk about it. He said you should know the melody, and you can use it. In fact, you have to know the melody to know how and what you should play with it. But without groove, I'm not sure if there is any reason to play the bass at all.

its not neccesarily a solo piece, nor is it a bass groove..

its sort of in the middle. a dangerous place to be, thats where the term "noodling" comes from.

your playing is fine, you just need to sort of conciously think- am i playing a groove, or a solo? jumping between the two is smart as well.

and, of course, take this all lightly. just my pointers.
