Me Soloing on Spain by Chick Corea

I don't post very often on TB, but I figured I would share a clip of a somewhat recent gig. Before anyone asks, I'll admit it's not an improvised solo. I worked it up before the gig. The audio is straight off the board. I'm playing a Roscoe SKB3006 that I bought here on talkbass a few years ago. Check it out. Hope ya like.

One of my favorite Chick tunes.
Some very nice moves and sounds.
Thanks for posting. What's the name of the band?

The gig was for Kory Caudill. He's a pianist I play for occasionally. This show was in his hometown in Kentucky. He's a ridiculous player. Far better than I could ever hope to be. If you want to hear the whole track and not just the solo, check this link. He plays some awesome stuff in the intro.

Nice stuff. I've often wondered why more people don't post good rides (solos) more often.

Chris, very cool phrasing and timing. If you get a chance check the version of "Spain" that Damian Erskine did on his album "Trios".

Thanks for posting it!!!
