Like Watchtower meets Coroner. Chugging guitars, a high-register vocalist and one hell of a bass player in Ralph Hubert, who interestlngly played pickstyle. He also did all their classical arrangements. I reccomend people pick some of their albums up- they can be legally downloaded for cheap at www.mp3stor.com

Ralph in action:

gotcha. the samples sounded OK, but they seemed too short to let us really hear for that type of music.

If you like any of the aforementioned band, I'd wager these guys would be your deal.

Cool, I definitely like the music, the vocals are OK, they might grow on me. I need to give a few more listens.

Whoever produced their stuff is a douche. There is sooooOOoo much reverb on the drums, everything just sort of floats away. I'm liking the music, the vocals are a tad weird, but interesting. I'll look into getting some of their music.

Prophecy on the myspace page sounds a lot better, they must have got a different producer. I actually really like this!

Ha, Matt, I think it was their bassist Ralph who did most if not all the production as he owned the studio they cut their stuff in- and Mekong barely played live, they spent much more time honing their songs in the studio.
