Hey guys!
I'd really like to know what you think of my arrangement for
Message in a Bottle by Sting...
It's arranged for solobass, and it's a lot of fun playing the chords and all.

Sounds pretty good, but is missing the strong melody that may be good to have for a strong solo bass statement. Without it, it sounds like pretty cool basslines and accompanyment just waiting for the melody- whether it be a vocal, horn, or even another bass.

Seems like the strings are buzzing against the fretboard a bit or you're digging in a lot, but that's a relatively minor technical issue. Then again some like a touch of fret buzz. Nothing wrong with that either, I guess.

Good job. Now add the melody!

Bit of fretbuzz going on...perhaps action is too low? Few sharp attacks which distort the recording.

Overall i like it anyways bud.

Yeah wow, major fret buzz. Would be great without that.

Needs less fret buzz. Turn down the trebs a bit?

Other than that, very impressive.
