| | | Finally a show of Trujillos skills... Very cool, you can see from his grimace that he enjoys it
I nearly had lost hope after hearing their new material, but Orion is always Orion, and Metallica THE thrash band. Now, I must go play bass, what other can a man do after hearing that song? |

Anybody know what effects Rob uses for Orion?
Especially at the intro.
Thanks!

But i liked how the song sounded the first time Rob played it live.
Bump for my original qn btw...

| | I don't think, but I still am. | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: So. Cali | | | That was a realy cool solo. I find that I still enjoy Metallica. Go figure. It also made me happy to see so much of Rob and his playing. I'm glad that Metallica knows how to move on and was able to do so. Cliff may have been a great musician, song writer, band director, etc., but he wasn't god.
Still, I have to admit, I do wonder what Metallica would be like if he were still living. Hmm. That would be something to see. The only thing I didn't really like about his playing was all of the distortion. It kinda hurt my ears at points.
Is it just me, or did Rob look like he had to take a dump when he was doing that squat walk across the stage or doing his customary crouch?
