Theres already a thread about the new metallica album.
The song sounds amazing though, its kind of a mix of the black album, load, and justice.
I didnt expect it to be good, the boys are back.
Keep in mind reviewers said that this was the weakest, most saint anger sounding song. If thats true,
then the rest of the songs must be godlike =o!

Theyre releasing the livemet soundboard audio tomorrow, cant wait for that!

It's not too bad, and I haven't cared for Metallica for some time. But I'm not blown away or anything.

It was kind of cool in an old-school thrash kind of way, until the vocals came in. I'll pass.

The thing that I don't like about Metallica is that since Cliff Burton died, the bass doesn't figure much into their music. Maybe this new one will have some bass on it.

it sounds okay. I saw em at bonnaroo and they played a new song that was more of a quick, thrash one. It was okay I guess, i'm gunna guess the new album will be better than st.anger, but that's as far as it'll go. But i'd Love for it to be awesome, metallica ****ing rock. Intense live show.

I've been following the progress through Mission Metallica (as I'm sure you all have), and I think the new album is going to be one of their best. They're back to doing what they do better than anyone else.

Some parts where "13-year-old-kid-tries-to-make-heavy-riff"? Didn't anyone else get that feeling?
Overall: Up and down.. 4.0 - 8.7 / 10

Well, has anybody heard it yet? I have the CD, and its been mixed FAR too loud, it clips out all over the place. I can't listen to more than 2 songs back to back with headphones on without getting a headache.
