'Tallica is back hell yeah!!! Just saw a few clips of them in their recent concert in Germany, all I can say is WOW James's voice is back, you can hear the bass and eveyrhting, they played nothing of St.Wanker, all old school metallica!!!

Lets hope their new album turns out as great as Ride the Lighting or Puppets!

Yeah I saw that on YT couple weeks back...it's good to see them playing well again although I still think Hetfield's voice has gotten softer/less aggressive sounding over the years.

Well his voice isn't "back" but yeah, sounds like they realize that Saint Anger sucked, that's a plus.

Side note: I would be terrified to play in front of a crowd that big!! Hit a wrong note and 10,000 people hear it!! Jeez!

Hahahahaha, well, Rob is pretty lucky in Metallica, he can get away with any wrong note (though you can actually hear him in this one), but poor James,Kirk, and Lars

It's always an interesting experience to watch Rob play. Sometimes it looks like he's in extreme pain, others it looks like he just fudged up real bad, and others he looks possessed.

Can't knock his playing though, especially since he plays it at his shins.

Is it just me or does it seem like Kirk isn't wearing his guitar as low as he used to?

Hey, I have a question: does Rob keep up with the songs using only his fingers?

Hahaha all those Germans during Creeping Death singing "THE! THE! THE!!!"

Yeah, Rob uses his fingers, though he uses a pick sometimes...
some times he uses he swings his index finger back and forth like playing a pick...

I just saw whereever I may roam, and all I have to say is WOW!!!

Hey, in Master of Puppets, is that James's old explorer :|!!?

I've only watched about 3 minutes of Orion so far. Damn, they sound good. Rob is doing a really good job.

It was a great concert, but kirk...all wah and wrong notes, ....well....still a good concert!

I really wanted to enjoy Orion but it sounds like a dodgy college band sorry

Kirk is out of tune (as usual from the live footage I've seen), they're bending the strings sharp in the harmony section and, as previously noted, Lars isn't known for his steady tempos.

Rob does a good enough job but why have your bass so low if you have to then prop it up on your leg to play any intricate parts???

I know I'll probably be flamed for this post but as a long standing Metallica fan (Puppets was one of the first albums I owned), that wasn't great.

I'm not that impressed either. It's not terrible, lol, but they sound a quite sloppy in spots. Well... Lars and Kirk do at least. Rob does fine and I do think that James is sounding pretty good. I am holding out hope that the next album doesn't suck.

But god - they got old!

am i the only person who thinks rob sucks? he has no dynamics at all in this show. his clean is unaudible, ane then his distortion is so overbearing. one second hes not there, the next hes screaming LOOK AT ME!

it sounds like hes popping every note, atleast to me it does.

i shouldnt say he sucks cuz hes good enough for metallica, but he hasnt shown me anything yet. and ive seen them with him twice live.

they gave him a solo and he was more concerned with spinning around in a circle or drumming on his bass to play one.

i dont wanna turn this into a rob bashing post but god...gimma jason anyday

In fairness to him, the overbearing distortion may be down to the sound guy but he does attack the notes a little too hard in places, especially in the middle of Orion, which should be calm and smooth but isn't
