I just picked up this great album a few days ago. He's easily become one of my favorite acoustic guitar players since I first heard him. I'm sure many here know that fellow TBer Michael Manring played with him. If you haven't heard his stuff check it out.

Any other Hedges fans here?

I've been listening to Hedges for a little over 10 years now. NO matter how many times I hear an album, it never ceases to amaze me.

Check out Aerial Boundaries and Breakfast in the Field. Those are two killer albums.

I've been a fan since one of my old roommates introduced me to him nine years ago. I picked up fretess because of hearing Manring playing on one of his tracks.

Oh, and is it just me, or does Aerial Boundaries have an extremely low output volume?

I got a compilation album of his an it has songs from both albums on it. I'd probably be into much of his work. One of my favorite songs of his is "Woman of the World". It's on the compilation album I got plus I borrowed the album it was first on, Watching My Life Go By, from the library.

Odd story, but the day I bought the previously mentioned compilation album, I went to an auction later in the day. I saw a group of records I was going to bid on that included some more from Hedges, Pat Metheny, Genesis, and others I was interested in, but I had to leave the auction. My father, who was with me at the auction, had a heart attack. Needless to say, I didn't place any bids.

Anyway, there's no good way to transition from that, so here's "Woman of the World".
