Michel Camilo & Anthony Jackson - Rendezvous

I just got this album yesterday, and it's amazing. Michel Camilo, Anthony Jackson, and Dave Weckl. Some crazy bass/piano unison lines. And super tight grooves.

Listen to the end of the track 3 preview. That's what made me buy the CD...

That's one of my all time favorites! And really showcases AJ's chops - great tunes, phenomenal playing, and the sound quality is superb. Also check out "One More Once" Michel and AJ with a big band.

Great album. And "One More Once" is one of my all-time favorite albums. Unreal from start to finish. Bright horns, great mix, classic bass grooves, and Camilo's piano chops. It's all there.

If you like that, try Michel Petrucciani "Live in Tokyo", with AJ and Steve Gadd. If you can get past the clinic in tasty playing that Gadd puts on, AJ and Michel arekillin' it!
