MIDI libraries

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi there, bass guys

Sorry to intrude, I'm a complete outsider, I don't even know whether this is the right place to write.
So this is my "problem", which I would ask you advise on:
I make music with my pc, with Cubase mainly, and I just bought this Spectrasonic Trilogy VST plugin (sorry for the advertisement). It is an awesome piece of machinery, sounds are very deep and faithful, but now the problem is to write some scores which actually "sound" like something a bass player would play.
So here comes the question: do you know of any (not necessarily free) MIDI libraries with bass scores, for various styles and actually anything you feel to suggest?
It would be really helpful.
Thank you guys!

Simone

Google. There's thousands. Avoid the ones with names like MIDIz4U.com and you should be fine.

I tried that already, but it's all so confusing
There is a lot of stuff out there, but very scattered, and I was rather looking for something more massive in a way and more comprehensive. For instance, Toontrack makes this MIDI packs for their Superior Drummer, which I think are just brilliant and so handy, and I was looking for something similar in the bass area.
Ideas? Thanks
