I just picked up Miles From India and wanted to suggest y'all check it out. It is one of those tribute cd to miles with several twists. Most of the players are Miles Alumni the other guest players are the top jazz musicians from India the results are outstanding grooves and solos. On bass we get Ron Carter, Benny Rietveld & Michael Henderson, Benny gets especially nasty on Jean Pierre. Marcus Miller has a spot on bass clarinet. Wallace Roney does and excellent stand in for Miles.
