Miranda Lambert Meets Foo Fighters

...at least that's how I describe one of my band's to those that have never heard us.

My band Scarlett's new EP is being released soon, you can check out the tracks right here: Staci Stork and Scarlett | Fort Wayne, IN | Country / Country Rock / Pop | Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos | ReverbNation

Let me know what you think!

I used a Lakland 55-60CS into an A-Designs REDDI Tube DI.

I don't hear a Miranda Lambert sound at all and maybe a little Foo Fighters sound but more of a Matchbox Twenty sound. I like your singer much better than Miranda Lambert and thank goodness she does not have that heavy twang that Miranda has. I like your sound and the bass playing is really cool.

I only had time to check out one song at work, but I like it! I can hear a little Miranda Lambert in it for sure.

Thanks guys, I guess I haven't heard a ton of Matchbox 20, but I guess when I say Foo Fighters...it's more of a twin guitar, sometimes three guitar attack. We cover alot of Miranda stuff, and people always tell us they sound just like the originals.

Sounds more Shania Twain and modern pop/country to me. Maybe the Foo Fighters comparison is misleading and will raise unfulfilled expectations?

I don't hear much ML in her voice either, sorry.

Bass is cool and well recorded.

Tight. Great production too. Is this country or western? Not hearing Foos, man.

Good music. Your singer sounds great. Has today's universal sound-appeal.
