| | | | Modern rock song driven by bassline?
Sign in to disble this ad
I looked through my library of modern rock music....and noticed that other than "Longview" by Green Day and "Time Is Running Is Out/Hysteria" by Muse, I don't have too many contemporary rock songs that are driven entirely by the bass during huge chunks of the song....distinctive bassline and all.
Could someone suggest a few for me to look for? |

| | | | Not technical wizardry, but several songs by the Killers including "Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine", "Midnight Show", and "When You Were Young" are heavily bass driven. |

...a lot of ska punk bands are driven by bass even though they aren't the main melodies. reel big fish - sell out comes to mind.
