Very cool stuff, reminds me of other albums of the period from Carol Kaye and Chuch Rainey.

Check out that cover - looks like a Versatone combo, part of the secret sauce in Jack Casady's grind-tone.

I have that on LP. Monk Montgomery was a pioneer of the electric bass, with brother Wes Montgomery and in the group The Mastersounds with his other brother, Buddy.

And yes, that is a Versatone amp on the cover of the LP.
