Try some of the earlier Elektric Band albums (if you can find them).

Also, try Chick's earlier fusion group, Return to Forever (I think you would like 'Romantic Warrior')

Other groups/albums in a high-energy technical fusion vein:
Mahavishnu Orchestra - 'The Inner Mounting Flame'
Front Page - 'Front Page'
Christian McBride's most recent solo album
Al Di Meola - 'Casino' (and his other albums from that period)
Tribal Tech
Gary Willis
Vital Techtones
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones

Exclamation

I saw them play most of the material from that album in concert a while back. Crazy!

Tribal Tech is probably closest to CCEB in terms of instrumentation and composition. You might also like the Yellowjackets, though they're a little less "out there" in terms of their compositional style.

Particle 'Launchpad' is one of my current favorites along with 'to the stars'.
