Cool Morningless - Distance, my band's first album online

Hi everyone. I'm the bassist of melodic death metal band named Morningless. We released our first full-length album yesterday, and we're happy to make it available for free on our website (we do accept any contribution via PayPal ).

We worked very hard on this album, and I'm very happy with mix of bass and guitars we have come with. Many death metal bands have great bassists, but they are often impossible to hear because of the way albums are mixed and mastered.

I hope metal lovers will appreciate our work, all available at Morningless - Distance - Official Website

Enjoy!

Thanks a lot for your comments!

It would be awesome to play in NY someday, but we are a small independent band from Quebec, and doing such a thing on our own is very complicated. But who knows!?

Thanks again for listening!

Hi again!

I'm looking for "good" and credible websites that make metal album reviews. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!

First listen is it sounds really great, well recorded & great playing & singing. While I like the singers screaming, I did not care for when he goes Cookie Monster on a few cuts (low growling), otherwise great work.

Thank you.

Thanks a lot for your comments. The album is self-produced and self-recorded, with our engineer friend's help.

We'll see what we can do about the cookie monster. Hahahha!

As you say, bass can always be louder right? I think it's loud enough, but because this kind of music is very "saturated", you need a good sound system or headphones to have a very good understanding of the bass. Otherwise, you'll get a good feeling and hear the punches, but maybe not all its nuances.

Thanks again for listening! Any more comments people?
