We got two more recorded today. Songs are called 'Jeff Ranski' and 'Repeater'.
We used a Korg D888 to record everything.
Here's the rig I used...
Sunn Concert Bass and Concert Slave, Earth 2x15 and Acoustic 2x15. Earth was micd with an SM57, the Acoustic with an old (and slightly dented) AKG D550 bass drum/bass mic. Used my Peavey T-40 (drop B) for all the songs we just did, except for 'Nicolas Rage' which I used my 2003 MIM Fender P-bass (F#BEA).
Drums were micd with CAD brand drum mics (don't know the model or whatever), an Audix F10 for overhead to get the cymbals, and an AKG D112 on the bass drum.
Everything recorded live, and full volume in my garage.

A few times recording these songs, the vibrations from my bass rig caused the harddrive on the recorder to skip, messing up the track. Had to surround the thing with pillows to solve that problem. We were sort of on our last wind tonight with a third song, both tired as hell, and barely getting through it, and we were almost done and it skipped on us so we said screw it. We'll record it some other day.
"Mastered" everything in Fruity Loops. haha Not a program meant for such a purpose, but it does the job well enough. Basically all we really did in it was adjust levels and mess with compressors to get the sound a bit clearer/louder.
