Mudvayne- recommended for listeners of Mr. Claypool and Heavy Music

Just checked out a new band called Mudvayne. They are cross between Pantera,(old)Korn,Tool and Primus.

The bass player sounds to be playing a fretless with chords,slap, and tapping being utilized thru alot of the songs. The vocals sound like Pantera and at times(when actually singing) like Tool ala Maynard.

Take a listen I liked it.

good band. i saw them with slipknot. bass player is got an amazing style (even though it resembles Claypools). he used a fretted bass when i saw them.
