i dont remember any mullet references in "mope"?
"i've got an ape drape" by the vandals is way awesome..

I saw a video by a band called Lit, they had "mulletron" in their vid. he was a 7' tall robot who walked around their concert and zapped people with his mullet ray gun. he was giving everyone mullets, even the members of the band, and chicks. it was cool

They have a song called "hockeyfrilla" which is mullet. It's about a guy who after he's been to the hairdresser finds out he's got a mullet in the mirror reflection of a well polished chevrolet.
