Question .mus files to mp3 files?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is it at all possible to turn .mus files into mp3 files?

I have Finale Notepad 2005a and I have created some songs that I really want to convert to mp3 format so I can put them on a CD, in iTunes, etc. I'm fairly sure that it can be done, but I'm just not sure how.

Any ideas or suggestions would help.

Itunes will convert files to mp3s.
At the top, click on the "advanced" bar. In the drop down menu you'll find a "convert" function. This will convert selected files to mp3.
I drag and drop AIFF files into itunes then convert. Hope it works for your .MUS format.

Try Xilisoft Audio Converter. Google it, and give it a try...

Don't know if Finale Notepad has this utility since I've always worked with the full version, but try looking for File > Save Special > Save as Audio File... Finale will show you a dialog box that allows you to save your .mus file in either .wav or .mp3 format.
