Interesting, would like to hear your band's version of it!

There's actually quite an active niche of video game music cover bands out there and some, such as The Minibosses and Descendants of Erdrick, are pretty good. They transcribe and transpose some pretty wild **** sometimes!

I recently found the youtube channel of a guy who does really nice (pseudo) 8 bit covers of pop songs. My favorite so far is N.I.B.

don't forget the Black Mages, although they're the same guys that write the originals (Final Fantasy series)

so this thread has had me checking out video game music on youtube and it turns out apparently back in the day (1990) Sega had their own in-house band (Sega Sound Team) that played tunes from their games - what a killer gig!
