IMHO, sounds a bit on the thin side. I would either punch in & out with some FX on bass (maybe some light distortion when guitar goes solo) or, bring in a rhythm guitarist to fatten it up. Maybe some better FX on the vocals as well.

Has potential though, rock on

haha It was recorded in a garage, what do you expect? We've had a few rythm guitarists but they all end up jerks so we gave that up. Thanks for your comment but do you have a comment on the actual music rather then the recording?

oh sorry. I just thought you would comment on the performance of the band rather then FX on vocals and bass.

OK, went back and listened to all 3 tracks again.
Keep in mind this is just my opinion and not meant to be preachy or condescending.

Sounds like a young metal band with decent mechanics but lacking in some aspects. Overall tempos seem a bit too slow (for my taste in metal anyway). Some of the guitar work is a bit repetitive. Drummer needs to work more on tom tom fills when bass is hitting accent points. Constant cymbal crashes on breaks and changes make it feel a bit hollow. I still walk away thinking it all feels/sounds too thin overall. I'm not getting that "in yer face" feel I look for in metal, almost too polite if you will. Overall good mechanics and execution, but lacks that big punch. As I said in first post, it has potential. Def keep at it and as your band matures so will the overall product.

Again this is just MY opinion and not meant to be an insult or put down. If writing and executing your own music was easy then anybody could it. Just keep at it.

peace,
smogg

I only listened to them on my laptop, so I lose all the lows. But for the first two songs I found myself wanting to turn up the guitar so I could hear it over the drums.

But overall a really good effort!
