I've been working this tune for a couple of weeks with some buds who are die hard Sabbath fans. I bet them that when we play it at a corn roast at the end of August, no one in the audience would know what it is.
What kind of crowd response did you get? |

played it tight, couple of very minor misses. I'd say it was in the upper 80th percentile cover quality. If the rest of your sets are like this you'd make decent coin doing weekend gigs.

He could've shown a little bit more effort while singing, but I guess he just wasn't very comfortable or shy, and depending on your emotions the voice changes drastically. Singing is not easy.
Another thing is, your bass is sounding like Steve Harris with more bright than Geezer used too. I don't know if your intention was to play exactly like BS, but if you lower the high a little bit would be nice. That's just an opinion.
Anyway, THUMBS UP! |

And I know what you mean about the brightness/high end. I use a sansamp rbi for extra dirt, it sounds great, but the downside is that the high end is wild and hard to control. I'm thinking of switching to the VT bass instead.

| | | I enjoyed it. I can't recall ever seeing anyone dance to Black Sabbath before (at least not in the last 20 years). That's positive feedback in and of itself. |

Good cover. Loosen up a bit and feel the rock. But stay alert. No need to get hit with random bras.

Thanks again for all the positive comments guys! We're trying to expand the band out of town right now, so it's good to hear positive reviews from people who aren't my friends/family!
