Great stuff + your bass sound great. There's a specific kind of nostalgic quality in your songs that can't be easily found nowadays (if you get what I mean). Keep it up!

thanks! It's nice that you picked up the "nostalgic quality" as you put it, we do enjoy making music like that.

Any other takers? We have an older school sound and the tracks show some diversity, from latin to deep purple-esque classic rock.

im listening to the first song right now. so awkward, but i love it. seriously, this is badass. i usually try to give recommendations to like, make it better, but you dont need any of that. just keep doing what you are doing.

First impressions:

1) More string noise than is unavoidable. Should be more mindful of this in the future.
2) Guitar doesn't cut well when using effects.
3) Too much stuff high in the mix. Nothing can be heard very well (except the guitar(s)) because of this- not even the lead vocals at times.
4) Backing vocals WAY too high in the mix.
5) Too many effects on track three- it's distracting and I can't tell what the singer is saying.
6) Point the snare drum mike a bit closer to the rim and add a touch more treble next time.
7) The last two songs I just don't like.

Not meant to be harsh, just stuff I'd have done differently.

Best,
c
