My band's first single

Please fell free to post you criticism. It was recorded entirely in our "Home Studio". It was produced by the band's drummer, who also wrote the song, and me. I mixed and mastered (First time ever!)
Thank you

hum... All I've got was a page from myspace saying "Invalid Friend ID".

Maybe you've blocked the page? cancelled the account?

I like it. Nice job on the mix as well. Post some more.

I have friend that just moved to Cali and he loves it there; especially the people. He's a world class photographer and he can be found here: http://http://gregebersole.wordpress.com/.

We're currently working on recording our EP which will have 4 songs, I'll post more as soon as we get the material ready. Thank you for your coments. Say, does your friend make bands' photo shoots? because we'll soon need to take some pics to upload on our space.
Thanks.

Funny you should say that.
Greg is personal friends with Bill Payne of Little Feat and has been on stages all over the world taking pictures of some of the worlds greatest entertainers. This guy is amazing!
I know he's going to be there at least 6 months but it sounds like he might extend his stay.
I would definitely look him up.

Sounds really good! I like the progression, and the mix and instrumental accents are very nice, you definitely got enough people in there haha. Really shows you what you can do with a full crew. Keep it up. BTW it kind of reminds me of a tune from the new Guns n' Roses album.

The breakdown part with the distorted guitar and the higher vox in your track just kind of has the feel of the entire album in general, but I guess listening to "There was a time," at least the chorus, could be a good comparison. I don't know, i think if you listened to the entire Chinese Democracy LP you would get where i'm coming from. But maybe not, maybe I'm just NUTS lol

Thank You very much, the rest of the stuuf that's going into the EP is heavier than this but not so much to make it metal. I'm very fortunate to be playing with very talented musicians and that show on the things we're trying to do. I hope we'll have the E.P readyin a couple of months. I'll keep you posted.

Reminiscent of Deep Purple, imo. The distorted guitar tone sounds a little over compressed, but a decent job recording and mixing for a home recording. I like the first song over the second. Keep it up!

We've uploaded the last song of our first E.P. "Escapar" Please listen and give me your feedback.
There was a 4th song which was an arrangement of Robert Johnson's Cross Road Blues but unfortunately we couldn't find a way to obtain a license so it is not going to be included on this E.P.
Soon I'll be posting a link from which you'll be able to download the song and the artbook.
Thank you.
