I was the engineer and producer as well as the bass player, so if you have any questions on the recording, I should be able to answer.
But as far as bass tracks, this was the signal chain:
2010 Fender American Standard Precision V
D'addario Chromes
Recorded direct into a Countryman Type 85
Half of the tracks were re-amped through a Markbass LMII -> Schroeder 1212L and miked with a Shure SM57
The other half was re-amped through an Ampeg B15N with a Shure Beta52
The two tracks with Upright were a 1965 Kay C-1 recorded with an AKG 414 and a K&K piezo pickup into a Countryman DI which was later re-amped into my markbass rig.
