Hey all, me and my band Declamation have recorded our EP. It was good fun, and the 4 originals that we did sounded great. Altough im probaly a bit high in the mix. Anyway im happy to hear any criticism on my bass playing. www.myspace.com/declamation

the vacuum of ****...

what does that mean?

I like the sound, very tight, maybe a little bit to tight for the music you play. On the other hand, you can hear what you play, with a lot of metalbands, thats not the case.

Greetz,

Cigi

Don't know how a metal band could ever be too tight but that's just me I guess. Sounds really good. I agree about the grunting(although I love me some screaming) but at the same time please don't ruin it with some sort of Eddie Vedder or Maynard James Keenan clone either. Nothing against Pearl Jam or Tool I just don't like it when people ape someone's voice when they don't actually sound like that naturally.

Vaccum of **** was a instrumental we wrote for fun, the name was inspired from Anthony Ketis (spelling ??) in his auto-biography. We do plan on getting a good clean vocalist, and defently not just settle for any ol' screamer.
