This is my band "Dead In London". We shot this video in the middle of Ohio's worst cold snap (13 degrees) last winter in an abandoned theater.
Let me know what you guys think!

Masher...

Like the previous poster - not my style of music (so take my opinion with a grain of salt), but EXCELLENT work, both with the video and audio. I like your tone and playing, and the band sounds very tight.

Great job,
Jay

Wow the music, parts of it, really reminds me of old Judas Priest. The mix is more modern, but it definitely was the first thing I thought of. NICE! Good to see a young band still rockin!
Did the girl live? ha

Ha! Thanks guys! I'm glad that people can look past the style of music they like or dislike and give mature critiques. By the way, I used a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz on the recording thru a Sanamp RBI mixed with the cab (schroeder 310212) sound and direct sound. And in the video that's my EBMM Sterling.

I have a new found respect for actors/actresses in that the hours were long and the conditions were NOT comfortable! That was my first professional video shoot. Playing the song 60 times over and over to get different shots in the freezing cold was not fun! Miserable at the time, but worth it now!

Oh, the phone is ringing when it's not on the cradle because we broke the old timey phone before we shot it! ha! What are ya gonna do?!?!

I wouldn't listen to this kind of music all day long, but it sounds very very good IMO. Both the sound mixing and the video editing have a very professional feel.

Not my bag (ha, I think this isn't your crowd, just about everyone has said that), but it sounds very pro. Great tone.

Well, like everyone else, this isn't the kind of music I listen to, anymore... but I did when I was younger... that being said, I really enjoyed it! The bass sounds great, and the part is just right, imo. Giving it a second listen, as we speak... er... type...

Great job, fella.

Ok...

I dont really get the concept of the video, if there even is one. I feel if you were going for a performance vid, you should of stuck with it. I have no idea why he was yelling at the girl and why the phone was even in the video.

From what I decifer from the lyrics, they are very generic and over done.

HOWEVER...

I really dig your tone and the cute little bass fill in the intro : D

Pretty cool Masher, I dig it, nice rawkin Velvet Revolver meets old school rawkin....good flow, I like the arrangement just fine, and the look of the video is pretty damn good. Nice job.

I actually did a video this weekend, oddly enough this being the first thread I read here....its in the post-prod. phase now I guess, I'll link that eventually.

Yeah...there's a bunch of things that kinda got lost in the translation between us and the director. As far as story line and editing, I mean. I think he was trying to show more of the band playing while trying to put in a story. Just not enough time in a 3 minute rocker for both!! In hind site, we should have been more picky about how the story line progressed becuase we had it all mapped out, but just didn't have enough time to get all the shots we wanted.

Thanks, about the "Cute" bass intro! hahaha! Damn...I wanted to sound tough! try again!

It was very good, but I feel like I have heard it before. Nothing all that new.

Its very well shot and sounds great, However, I dont know, The drummers kick sounds really scoop and the kit in general seems a bit generic/Electric/Midi for me. I just dont like the sound of the kit i guess!
