Cool My cover of Tool: Schism

Sign in to disble this ad

this almost seems to be a rite of passage for any prospective metal bassists, so here's my crack at it.

I had a bit of a problem with clipping because of my wah pedal..but it's not too bad hopefully.

So whatcha think? Good, bad, ugly or just plain carrots?

Thanks alot man And I am a seriously proud owner of it haha. I'm fortunate to have a very generous dad who put a fair amount towards it for my 18th birthday present, for which I'm eternally grateful!

Alright alright...political satire is not my bag. Happy?

you do know JC uses a whammy instead of a wah for that effect right? i find this song actually more easy to play with a pick, but maybe that's just me. otherwise, nice job (check out my vid: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sORQDvPrSi8 )

are you a lefty theta or is that one of those crummy IMAC auto flip cameras?

as to the tune and the.."rite of passage into metal-dom".......naw, but inspirational to any "youngling" looking to step into the metal maniacs drivers seat.

Indeedy. He also hammers the notes with his left hand and pans his tone control with the right in conjunction with the whammy usage (was watching some guys' cover and he had the sound spot on).

unfortunately I have neither a whammy pedal or a tone pan control so sucks to be me You did a fantastic job on your cover man! good stuff, even if I'm not much of a Jackson fan...

I'm a righty! And it's a logitech camera that seems to go from mirroring the image to making you turn bright blue with weird automatic colour settings. It's all good clean fun.

sneaky shameless advertising for views huh?...well you should have said, "hey everyone check out my video of Maiden's PhantomOfTheOpera"..what do you all think, and put a link.

( No link needed, just look at my main video )

we now return you to the thread topic.
