I had some spare time today so i decided to record the DI options i have have in my home recording setup.
mp3 1. is a grove tubes brick preamp/di
mp3 2. is the di out on a WT550
the bass used was a Modulus FU4 (with OBP-1 preamp) and all were recorder on a yamaha aw1600.
I'd like to hear what other people think - i must say i am a little surprised how similar they sound and I'm not sure which i like better. |
