I thought your bass tone was great. Very authentic. Maybe just me, but I thought the drummer pushed a little too much -- He needs to lay back and let that pocket breathe.

Awesome Mark!

You guys reminded me how much Steely Dan rocks!

I still hate Canada though...

Wow! I'm impressed. You don't see people of your age (I'm 45) even try to play anything of that complexity anymore. Unless they're Berkley students or something.

For that matter, it's hard to find people my age playing stuff like this.

There's hope for the future of music yet.

Is there gas in the car?
Yes, there's gas in the car.
I think the people down the hall know who we are.

Killer! The Royal Scam never leaves my CD player.

Not bad. Nice to see people trying some classic SD. The horns need work.

Can't listen at work, but that is easily my fave Steeley Dan song. By the sounds of things you guys did well. I hope you made Chuck proud. His playing in that song really paints a picture of what a bass player should be. Larry Carlton's playing ain't half bad either. Congrats!

Hopefully!
it was a transcribed bass line. But I didn't follow it note for note. Kept the basic idea of it though.
He played some complex **** in that tune!
