My favorite Enio Morricone tune (with great bass)

From Come Maddalena:

The sound is not too good but listen how the bass carries all through the song.

This man will forever be my favorite movie composer.

Imagine what this bassist felt like before and after playing this.

"Dude, I'm going to play bass for Enio Morricone"

Then:

"Aaaah don't wake me uuuppp..."

The original, more modern (at least in its time) has of course a better bass sound, but I like the orchestral version better:

I heard the movie is so-so.

Bill Laswell played some cool bass on Material's version of Morricone's "For A Few Dollars More"

Ennio Morricone experimented with two basses playing different walking lines on "Sinfonia D'una Cittŕ, Part II" from the soundtrack for the 1982 film "Copkiller". Not a memorable result IMO, but interesting nonetheless. Hear it here.
