My first Solo Bass CD

I haven't been around here much lately (I almost lost my day job because I spent too much time here). But, I just had to drop by and pimp my new CD. It is a 6-song, solo bass EP entitled "Musings".

On this project, I set out to do a few things with bass that one might not normally hear. I think I was successful. You may things that sound a lot like gee-tar or keys, but it's all bass (and Fruity-Loops drums).

I am in the process of having it available through the standard online retailers (cdBaby, Amazon.com, iTunes, etc...), but that takes time. In the mean time, you can hear some of the tracks on my MySpace page. Or, you can purchase the actual CD here.

Check it out. I welcome any feedback.

Hmm, I'm hearing some real timing issues with "Rain Must Fall", are you tapping there? There are some parts where it just seems well off the beat...

Thanks for giving it a listen.

I know there are a few parts where the melody was a little behind the beat, it was an attempt at shifting the feel slightly in the different verses.

Actually, I didn't do any tapping on any of the tracks (excpet for a few harmonics on "Sunrise On The Other Side").
