I needed to test out some new gear and pretty much just got down to business.

here are a few recordings of two cover songs we pulled off yesterday sitting in my living room. i must say im pretty impressed, i may be a little biased so PLEASE C&C these. i know there are a few timing issues and to be honest sweet child of mine was the first run through vocally and with my bass part, and thats all over the place. im looking for mixing opinions mostly. thanks!!!

Not bad at all! Pretty nice actually!

Guitar and voice seem a bit dampened for a living room recording . Did you use an electro-acoustic?

There was a bit of a noise gate on the voice, and nothing I could remember to dampen the guitar, some compression but that's about it. And the main guitar parts were thrown down with a dread fender and the lead part to sweet child of mine was put down with a stratacoustic.

And thanks for the complements from the both of you.
