I always wondered if I could write something that captured my imagination the way the music that other people wrote/played captured my imagination. I guess all I had to do to answer that question was to sit down and record something I wrote myself.

The subconscious being what it is, it'll be interesting to hear what parts of this are from stuff I've listened to over the years and I think I need your ears to tell me that.

Man, Basskid is all over advertising his videos! Haha. I liked it. Could have gone for a tad bit more MoJo, but I liked the hat.

It was good - I would only suggest practicing it against a metronome or click track - so you are nailing all the changes and the time consistent.

You guys are great!

Yeah, I fell in love recently after what seems like a whole decade and everything is butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales, so it is certainly lacking mojo

that's a Modulus VJ with Nordstrand pickups and I'm forgetting the name of the preamp.

Honk'n_down-low - yeah, the metronome, excellent point!

basskid - you have another subscriber

SlimT, I really enjoyed that. I enjoyed the melodic playing. I'd love to hear that to a drum backing tracking.

I dug it. I'll take simple playing over 'zillion notes a minute' blur solos any day!

Nice and laid back! Keep up the good work.

Every time you did the slap part I thought you were going to start playing the family matters theme.

I liked it but could do without the slap at the end. But, I am sort of an anti slapper myself
