Hey, just wanted to post up a link for my first youtube video! It's Money by Pink Floyd...yeah I know...I just really wanted to get something on there quickly that I didn't have to brush up on too much. Anyway, here's the link.

Awesome vids. I don't have a youtube account, other wise I would have left a comment. Really nice job! What bass is that? I've seen them before but the name escapes me. The headstock just screams badass and your tone is awesome! I liked the acoustic song too. Keep 'em coming!

And btw. Much respect to you for being a military man. Props all around.

Thanks for the comments bro! I'm only a military man for another 54 days though, and I can't wait to get out...

Anyway, the bass I don't have much info on. I bought it in '06 at a guitar store in South Korea where the guy gets his stuff direct from a factory. I inquired about the make of it in '08 to see if I could get a five string version, but all he could tell me was that it was made at an Ibanez factory that is now closed. There are no markings on the bass anywhere to identify it at all. No serial numbers, no brand name, nothing. But I love it. Paid $350 for it brand new. The recording was done direct to the board too, so I can't credit the tone to anything but the bass, and well, maybe my fingers. Thanks for the comments again, bro! Have any requests?

I like to give the people what they want. Isn't that our jobs as musicians? I mean, unless you're big enough to tell the people what they want...

Anyway, got two more videos up today for the viewing.

I like the look of the bass...nice playing too. Here's a request...The Hives, Die all right...I play it, haven't seen anyone else except people playing the version on Guitar Hero.

I read your description AW.

AW...I used my 4banger on beat it, and played the whole song on the lower register ..you are right some people are afraid to re-tune, because they get all confused...I play by ear, so my bass can be tuned anywhere and I just transpose frets. I won't have a sheet telling me to hit "this or that" fret...
