Interesting, I like the guitar, the singing sounds a touch off key (flat?). Not painfully so, but enough to sound off to me.

It is. I'm not that great of a singer, and combine that with the somewhat high singing and you get that.

Some careful double tracking of the vocals can usually smooth off the minor "near miss" vocal issues - and it sounds like your voice would suit double tracking quite well.

I'm assuming that there is more to add during the last minute or so.
