My Latin/Jazz band - need feedback!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey,

I recently recorded a demo with a new band, the demo is mostly aimed at restaurant and cafe audience so the repertoire is quite standard for the moment.

We're planning on doing more original songs in the future, but this is what we have for now. I recorded this with my Elrick Standard 5 string and I'm going through a D.I.

Give me your feedback, good or bad.
Thanks!

Sounds pretty good but I'm not a big fan of
flamenco/nylon string guitar. other than that it
sounds really good.

Sounds good!! Have you checked out Irakere? If not, please do. Jesus "Chucho" Valdes is one of the most prolific Latin/Jazz/Salsa pianists, he is the founder of Irakere. It's the band that Paquito D'Rivera and Arturo Sandoval were in prior to their defecting from Cuba. Also check out a movie called "Calle 54." It is the real story of the most important people in Cuban music. All in all great playing and I'm going to hit you guys up for a myspace friend request!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!
