My little chord progression thing.

Sign in to disble this ad
I was bored today and I just started noodling and came out with this. Its' just a simple chord progression that I'm going to do in duet with a sax or something. Tell me what you think, but be nice :-p. I know the timing's not perfect (It's kind of free), there arent' too many messups ..

Hey man! That was nice dude. It was very colorful and full of flavor. Delicious.

The time isn't that bad. During some of the pauses I picture you getting your fingering set for a chord. This will improve with practice (of course). Speeding up and slowing down is okay in music; just as long as it's musical.

Nice work! I really dig it.

it sounds really...full, the arrangment, not just a bass line, but like a full melody, it wouldn't need a guitar or sax in front, and it sounds like you could actually support it with a bass line and drum track,

sax over it would still be cool

Yeah, I wasn't really thinking a sax "over it" but to fill in some of the lacking parts.

Sounds good. It makes me want to get an Alembic and play chords, and you know what they say about imitation.

How do we know that you have fro-mojo, and not some sort of steroidally-enchanced mojo? Nice stuff.

'Roids don't give you cool hair, or any good kind of mojo either. Just small, well, you know. Maybe a strong urge to punch a wall as well.
