My melodic bass solo

Just kind of messing around and a some was improvised. I'm interested in seeing how far from the mark I am from something that could feasibly be considered to be a cool bass solo to rock out on stage.

Its good but it doesn't strike me as a solo

is it just me or does this remind anyone else of a chili peppers song? i cant pull up a name in my head though.

Hm, that's actually coincidental, I'm not familiar with that song I don't think. I thought it would strike more people as maybe like a Tool or Metallica rip-off. :-)

Would that make it just called a song then? Or maybe like a "diddy" or "doodling around" I guess. I'm just curious what you'd call stuff like this if you were to do it live.
