My New CD

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey fellow TBers
I just finally finished my newest CD called "Wire and Wood"
Check out my myspace page for some clips.
It features some really great chicago players including Sax player Mark Colby who used to play with Jaco.

Let me know what you think
Thanks

I'll be honest, I've never been a huge Jazz fan. No particular reason, guess it's just not something I've ever been exposed to or sought out heavily.

But that aside, I love your music. Seriously, I wish I could play my bass with half the skill you have.

Good stuff, I give you props.

Sounds great, very nice stuff! Nice to see Mark Colby's name too, I have a couple albums on vinyl he did in the 70's when he came out of Maynard Ferguson's band, one of them had some nice bass-work by Jimmy Johnson's brother Gordon.

Yeah mark was great. He had just gotten back from the Maynard Ferguson Tribute concert. I know he played a big part in maynard's groups for a while. IT was also cool to know somebody who had a direction connection with jaco. He told me his jaco stories...they were great. We recorded a version of Coltranes after the rain and used it as a feature for mark and he played so beautifully.
