My new video : "Eternal Waterfalls"

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, as I promised, I'm posting my new video (it's another composition). So here is the link for the video : http://rapidshare.de/files/3862043/E...falls.wmv.html

Since this file is big, here is the mp3 (I suggest to anyone to download it as well, since the sound's quality in the video is not really good) : http://rapidshare.de/files/3862577/E...falls.mp3.html

Well, that's it.

I liked the intro (A) section.

Didn't care for the rest of the music or your tone. Chops-fests have never been something I've enjoyed though.

Also the different parts don't seem flow at all.

Peace,
Adam

You're timing is okay, but there wasn't a lot of dynamic variation until after that Norwegian wood thing (that was totally wooten-esque). I mean, it would go from superquiet and soft to quiet and sorta-soft. It started to pick up speed, then you went into the strum and slap thing.. but that kinda killed it :-\.

I liked the tapping, but I didn't care for the strumming/slapping. It didn't flow too well, but I think if you just left it at the tapping and cut about half of the intro out, it'd be great as is.

I've seen a couple of your vids now. You need to start thinking more melodically with an emphasis on moving smoothly from a theme to a solo.

IMHO, you're trying to be too flashy. Make sure you're holding down a groove. Not just soloing.
