Like the title says...

These guys are super to hang around with... It's actually the first band I ever joined (at a moment I was only starting to take up the bass seriously). Learned to play in a band together with 'm and did some absolutely horrific gigs way too early...

Fell apart and got together a few times. Last year, Our drummer landed a gig in a post rock band that had some good players and became disillusioned.

Half a year later, we're back... New songs, new guitar player. The guitar player that kinda sucks IMO is still there but... oh well... We're going to go for it: gig our asses off and try to make at least one album at the end of the year...

Any hints, constructive criticism, non-constructive criticism, praise, groupies offering themselves, ... All welcome?

Live @ Stoof Rockt!.mp3

p.s. We were playing a little shed with only (******) PA-support on vocals and the recording was made via an Iphone. Hifi lovers better make a run for it...

I liked it. If you say the guitarist isn't that good, well I think it's fine. This kind of music is ruined by virtuoso guitar players. It's all about the sound isn't it.

Definitely has that postpunk Magazine, Early Altered Images, Bunnymen thing going on there, all good.

I don't know if it's the PA, but the vocal sound is too middy and pub rockish for me. The post punk needs to have a bit less of that, nice reverb or echos sometimes, a little more other-worldly. The singing blends a bit more that straight-ahead rock, post-punk is a little more democratic, so no rocky guitar solos, bass is important and semi-melodic rather than just low-end, singing is more textural.

Great drums and bass-playing!

If you come to Australia, we can do a post-punk night together! Signal X | Facebook

Yeah the sound quality isn't great but I can tell it's great stuff...You should look into getting a Zoom H2 for recording stuff...

We have three guitar players .. and true, they are all serving their purpose. One of them switches to keys for half of the songs and plays the more chorus and delay drenched stuff...

Other one just fills the mix by playing the chords.

Third one plays tighter and closest to lead guitar it'll ever get in our band.

Vocal PA was distorting every now and then and didn't give acces to reverb (which we add whenever possible).

Thanks a lot, man... If we ever make it to Australia, I'll surely let you know. Would be unreal .

I'd really like to know what your bands name is actually.
