Hope it's cool to post this here:
Just launched a bandcamp site. Kind of new to that venue, but I thought I'd share a link for anyone interested in hearing a different brand of "out-there" rock, that happens to have some killer (IMO) bass tones in it. Guzzlemug |

Dysrhythmia! - love those dudes.
We've done a few shows with them and it's always a treat to see them live. Really nice guys. |

I use a Bassdrive in the efx loop of the Mesa for the OD.
It sounds great, but I have tons of problems with my amp - I push it too hard. |

It sounds great, but I have tons of problems with my amp - I push it too hard. | Try getting a tube preamp, and a large power amp.

Lots of great players I've shared a bill or two with go that route, and I must say, while they have great tone, I have yet to hear something that blows me out of the water for my stylistic approach in the context of music that I play. There's magic in those big glass bottles...
Dear tube mfgs, send me free tubes whenever I need them. |

In that case, you need more tube amps, my friend.

But you're not a copy of him; it's a distinct style, with elements from Rush, TOOL, and King Crimson, creating a nice, smooth blend of style. I am uber jealous of the sound you're getting!!
I also love how you cut through the mix. Overall, a very nice, very tight group. Props.
