Here are two recent videos of some solo bass compositions I have been working on.

I don't usually like slap bass, but the harmonics on Tom Thumb were really tasty! Nice work my friend.

Thanks jmac!

Dont get your hopes up though! there isn't any flash accompliment like symphonic orchestra or jazz guitar lol

The only accompliment on the MP3 of "TOM THUMB" is programmed drums using Toontracks's EZDRUMMER and I multi tracked a few slap and harmonic parts to make them stand out more.

Regards,
Andy

loved Tom Thumb. I really enjoyed the interaction with bass and the drums. The drums made the track for me

I just looked up "rock" in the dictionary, and the definition was "Andy C. Saxton".

Aside from the mechanical ability, which obviously is top notch, I do like the melodies and compositions as well. Ease on the spams though

When you say spams you mean that rapidshare link? I just want people to share my bass love for free! I'll ease of mentioning that link! and thanks for the compliments!

Absolutely awesome, Andy. Your chops and musicality are top notch. I still can't get over the muted slap rhythms in Tom Thumb. The version with the drums is killin'.

Man, this stuff is top notch. I love the tone of your bass, and I dug your technique and everything. It's really something I aspire to get to in my playing style. Keep it up!

Great work. Very musical and doesn't come off as wanking at all.
