Ok, most of the stuff on my soundcloud would not appeal to people here (It's not rock music)..and also because 90% of it was recorded using an upright bass....
But I do record stuff that is more rock (I guess) so here is one example...let me know what you think...and yes, it is a P bass with flats you are hearing.
